Your First Visit

We are looking forward to meeting and helping you.  Please bring with you your referral, insurance card, list of current medications, previous allergy skin tests, and any lab or x-ray reports.  The registration form enclosed with your mailed packet should be completed before your visit and brought with you. If you wear contact lenses, please bring your glasses with you too. For your comfort and convenience, we suggest wearing two-piece clothing.  Eat your regular breakfast the morning of the visit.  Although you may not need to be in the office for the full day, please make necessary arrangements to have the day off since a thorough workup is necessary and your healthcare is important to us.

     Plan to allow extra travel time for increased traffic in the mornings.

     We ask that you stop all anti-allergy medication for 48 to 72 hours so that your tests will be more accurate.  Other medications may also be required to be held for testing.  If you have asthma, you may take your anti-asthmatic medication, but do not take any on the morning of your initial visit , if possible.  Bring your medications or a list if you do not know their names.

     If you are taking medication for diabetes, please bring some lunch with you.  If you have had a steroid injection, such as cortisone or kenalog within 3 weeks of your scheduled appointment, please notify the office.
